About Hope Home
Hope Home began because of one woman, Elisa Melo.
Elisa Melo moved to India with a heart full of compassion and within her first year she uncovered a devastating truth; countless newborn girls were being discarded, abandoned on streets, thrown into rivers, or left in the trash. All because the were born female!

Our vision
The dream of Hope Home is to build a new 3-story facility. Relocation of Hope Home and launch a school that will serve children from multiple villages.
will allow us to:
-Provide stable, long term education for children who would otherwise never enter a classroom
-Train and empower young women to become leaders in their communities
-Allow for more children to have home! No child deserves homelessness and hopelessness
-Create a safe, hopeful, christ centered environment where every child can thrive.
